When I’m fearful of rejection,
I find it everywhere,
No matter where I run or hide,
Rejection’s always there,
But when I drop my shield,
And sheathe my ready blade,
I learn rejection’s bluster,
Is a feeble masquerade,
If it’s really even there,
Its wounds are often slight,
I find rejection’s bark,
To be much meaner than its bite.
Wonderfully stated !
Thanks, Laurie!
Nice!
