Life is a constant
tug of war,
and there are
many worthy ropes
to pull.
Who has the strength
to grasp them all,
who has the fire
and the fuel?
And if that
boundless brawn
were found
within one person,
do recall,
two hands alone
we each possess,
to grab new ropes
old ropes must fall.
Love how you squeezed so much wisdom into so few words. Great poem 🙂
